Jordan’s Hope Brings Awareness to Local High Schools

admin Blog

The Jordan’s Hope for Recovery speaking team spoke at Warrenton, Astoria and Knappa high schools this last school year. Our focus is on awareness and prevention, sharing personal stories and statistics with students. We hope to educate the students on the adverse impact involved in the misuse of prescription drugs, street drugs and alcohol through personal stories that describe the struggle and loss of life.
Our team consists of one to three personal stories, counselors, and support staff. We hold assembly style sessions that last approximately one hour. Our counselors are available during and after each assembly. Support staff will hand out wrist bands to all students and a drawing is held for free t-shirts.

We will begin scheduling for our 2017/18 school year in October. For more information or to schedule our team please email Kerry at info@jordanshope.org.
